MAFA Integrated Farms owns several medium sized farms in Kano and Kaduna States including the 36 Hectare Integrated farm at Marke village in Makarfi LGA and 20 Hectare rice farm at Kaleku village in Rogo LGA of Kano State. The 20 Hectare farm is by a Perennial River that can be used for irrigation.
Our Marke farm is strategically located along the Kano Zaria expressway and is surrounded by large farms that are open to partnerships.

Our long-term plan is to expand the beef cattle and sheep and to introduce goats in the enterprise to achieve production of quality beef, mutton, and goat meat. We also invest in Dairy cattle of a suitable breed for milk production and processing.
Our Livestock’s farming including growing of pasture for Cattle, Sheep and Goats. Our Forage production is being carried out at Marke farm and the company is making efforts in the production and conservation (into hay) of improved forage species like Rhodes, Briacharia and alfalfa for feeding animals during the dry season.
The company has a full-scale hatchery, 4 concrete ponds and a massive earthen pond for raising catfish.
Our capacity is currently 50,000 fishes, Alongside, we produce more than 1,000 litres of milk per day from our exotic breeds of cow which we sell to milk processing companies.
We have over 500 rice paddy farmers under our backward integration program in Jigawa, Niger, Kano and Anambra respectively.
We provide them with high quality farm inputs; and are skillfully supervised by our team of expert extensionist.

Managing Director
Anwar holds a master’s degree in electrical Power Engineering from Northumbria University, Newcastle upon Tyne and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He is registered with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).
He has 16 years professional experience in dealing with complex macro-issues that threaten company profitability and longevity. As Director of Operations in MAFA Group, he is part of the team that conceived the idea of the group and nurtured the idea into a reality.
Anwar has managed diverse multi-racial and multi-generational teams to deliver high impact projects including various public and private universities, a centre for disease control in Kano state financed by Pfizer, electricity transmission expansion projects in Eko Atlantic city, Victoria Island and Ikoyi as well as North-western Nigeria.
Director, Finance and Admin
Meshack Ossai holds an MBA in Finance and Investment, Diploma in IFRS from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Six Sigma Master Black Belt from Six Sigma Global Institute, Boston, Massachusetts USA. He is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
He joined Zenith Bank in 2007 and has over a decade of experience in financial management and branch operations. His areas of expertise include financial reporting and analysis, lean process improvement, business process management, actuarial and quantitative solutions, finance transformation, capacity building and training.
He is currently involved in multi-sectoral projects ranging from agriculture and agro-allied developments applying lean process methodologies to optimize agro-allied production in Nigeria.
General Manager, Production
Abdulfattah is a graduate of Industrial Chemistry from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University and holds Master of Business Administration from University of Nicosia, Cyprus.
Abdulfattah is the General Manager (Production) of MAFA Rice Mill Limited with 15 years cognate work experience in manufacturing.
Prior to joining MAFA Rice Mill, he was Quality Manager with AshakaCem Plc where he led the successful re-certification of AshakaCem Ltd ISO 9001-2008 to ISO 9001-2015: 2018 and the successful certification of AshakaCem Ltd ISO 14001-2015 EMS certification: 2019.
Head Human Resource & Admin
Lydia is a graduate of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from FUTA (Federal University of Technology, Akure). She holds an MBA (HR specialization) from Bayero University, Kano. She also has a master’s degree in Developmental Studies from Bayero University.
Lydia was the head of Aftersales Coscharis motors, Kano where she attended to major issues of customers’ vehicles for 10 years. She has an excellent knowledge of customer relation.
Currently the head of Human Resource of MAFA Group, Lydia is a self starter that approaches issues aimed at enhancing organizational and individual growth with objectivity. Her career goal is to employ the use of effective HR practices to develop, manage and motivate high performing workforce.

Zubairu, holds a professional certification in accounting and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
He is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of MAFA Rice Mill. He has over 10 years’ experience as a chartered accountant. Prior to joining MAFA Rice Mill, he spent over a decade in the banking sector with Afribank, Mainstreet bank and Unity bank.
